Andrew Wood finishes the Mini Transat 2007
In the last few days he has pulled up the fleet and finished in 21st place in 27 days, 0 hours, 37 minutes and 1 sec (average 5.88 knots). The Mini Transat is a race across the Atlantic for boats of 6.5m (approx. 21 foot) long, single-handed. The race was original conceived by an Englishman (Bob Salmon) and the first four editions of the race were started by our club. For more details see our club's history webpage [Mini Transat...].
